Portal is not showing Sub-collections

❓ Issue/Question

• I do not understand why the collections are not visible
• Why don’t I see the collections folder marked with the “Media Portal” tag when I click “View More”?

👌 Resolution/Answer

• If the user isn’t logged in
  • This is expected, because public access doesn’t allow browsing sub-collections
• If the user is logged in
  • Navigate to Configure > Distribution > External Distribution
  • Find the portal and click View
  • Under Media visible, check that the collection or its parent collection is included, and that the tag settings don’t exclude it
  • Check in Collection Management that the collection has sub-collections
