How to update the Embargo and Expiration?

In order for you to edit embargo and expiration dates, the Media Library > Can edit permission must be enabled on your account.

If you're unable to follow any of the steps below, kindly reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

  • Can I bulk remove the expiration of a media?
  • How can I edit the Embargo date and Expiration date?

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Edit the dates on one media
    • Open the media
    • Click the Availability lock icon on the right
    • Edit the Embargo or Expiration date
  • Remove the dates in bulk
    • Select several media
    • Click the Availability lock icon in the right menu
    • Go to the Remove tab
    • Select Embargo date or Expiration date
    • Click Confirm
