How to synchronize teams & players via the API integration?

❓ Issue/Question

• Can you please sync this team for me?
• Some players are missing a headshot, can you update it?
• How to trigger teams and player synchronization via API?
• The collection sync is giving me no results

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Go to Configure > Teams & Players
• Click Synchronize at the top right

• Choose what to sync
  • Select the sport, league and season
  • Select the matching ScorePlay season
    • How to create a new season?
  • Select specific teams or all teams
• Set the options
  • Include new teams: new teams can be created
  • Override team details: teams linked by an external ID get their name and metadata overwritten by the integration
  • Schedule a refresh, weekly or monthly (recommended)
    • Where can you find and manage the scheduled collection synchronization?

• Submit
  • Check the sync preview
  • Click Submit
  • A platform notification confirms the sync
