- I have trouble accessing a folder. My colleague is able to see it
- Why can I access a collection but not find it through search?
- X collection not showing up in the search bar
ย
๐ Resolution/Answer
-
Check the path of each result
- Look at the path under each search result, e.g.
Parent collection>Sub-collection - A collection can have the same name as your colleague's but be in a different folder
- Look at the path under each search result, e.g.
-
Find the collection in Collection Management
- Go to
Configure>Collection Managementand search for the collection by name - Empty collections also appear in this list
- Go to
-
Search with the tag suggestions
- In the Collections search bar, type a keyword from the collection, such as the person or event name
- Select the matching tag in the suggestions to open the collection
-
Add media directly to the collection
- Upload media to the parent collection itself, not only to its sub-collections
-
Ask your platform administrator
- Check with them that the collection exists and that your account can access it
- Please contact your platform administrator to request that
Collection Management>Can view pagepermissions be enabled for your account - If you're unsure who your platform administrator is, reach out to the ScorePlay Support team via Live Chat, and we'll help you identify the right contact

ย
๐ฅ Cause
- The Collections search skips collections with no media directly inside them, even when their sub-collections hold media. This is a known limitation, and our team is investigating a fix
ย
๐ Notes
- Search doesn't return the media I'm looking for
- Turning on the
Empty collectionsfilter in the search doesn't bring the collection back
