In order to turn on the validation for users, the Users > Can edit users permission must be enabled on your account. If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

When you invite a new user
- Turn on
Requires validation. Every upload from this user needs approval before it is published
- Turn on

For external upload links
- When you create the link, turn on
Requires validation. Every upload through the link needs approval before it is published

For existing users (Users page)

Validator: turn it on so the user can approve uploads from others -
Validation required: turn it on so the user's uploads need approval- To stop validation, turn it off on the user. Their uploads are then published without approval
