❓ Issue/Question

  • How to create live audio presets?
  • How do I map the audio tracks of my live feed in a live preset?

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Create the preset
  • Map the audio
    • Turn on Custom audio channels. An output track called Audio 1 appears
    • Click the pencil icon to rename it, e.g., Commentary EN
    • Click + Channel mapping until the output has one mapping per channel: 2 for stereo, 6 for 5.1. The first click adds the channel picker to Channel mapping 1
    • In each mapping, pick the input track and channel that feed it
    • Click Add audio for each extra output track, then click Create

🔖 Notes

  • Only map tracks the feed actually sends. If the preset expects more tracks than the encoder sends, the extra tracks don't appear and the headphone icon can disappear from the player
  • Send multi-track feeds over SRT. RTMP carries only one audio track
  • Audio has to be present when the ingest starts. Tracks are detected at the start only
  • ScorePlay accepts up to 16 audio channels on a live ingest
  • Audio track options not visible on live stream
