User with Tag Access can't see empty collections

❓ Issue/Question

• We can't see a lot of empty collections, for example X
• A user with Tag Access can see some collections, but not the ones that are empty

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Add one of the user's Tag Access tags to the collection
  • Check which tags are in the user's Tag Access field
    • How does the "Tag Access" field in a user's settings work?
  • Open the collection, click the … (3 dots) and select Edit
  • Add at least one of those tags to the collection's tags
  • Save the changes
• The collection appears for the user, even while it's empty
• If you can't edit the collection, ask your platform administrator to add the tag for you

🥚 Cause

• A user with Tag Access sees a collection only if one of these is true:
  • The collection's tags include one of their tags
  • The collection holds media tagged with one of their tags, which also shows every collection above that media
• An empty collection has no media, so if none of its tags match the user's tags, it stays hidden
