How to change the download quality in the mobile app?

❓ Issue/Question

  • How do I change the quality of the photos and videos I download from the mobile app?
  • By default, videos download in a compressed version instead of the original file

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Change the download quality in the app settings
    • Open the ScorePlay mobile app and go to Settings
    • Under Photo download quality, choose Original or Web compressed
    • Under Video download quality, choose Original or Web compressed

🔖 Notes

  • By default, photos download in Original quality and videos in Web compressed quality (1080p)
  • Each user changes this setting in their own app. The default can't be changed for the whole platform
  • Original videos can be very large, and some formats, such as .mxf, aren't supported on mobile
  • If you don't see these options, close and reopen the app. The update installs automatically the next time the app opens
