How to download media via MASV?

In order for you to download via MASV, the Media Library > Can download via MASV permission must be enabled on your account.

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Start a MASV download
    • Select the media you want to download
    • Click Download
    • Choose the File Quality
    • Under Delivery method, select MASV
    • Click Download

  • Open the MASV download link
    • Open the notification center. The notification shows Preparing MASV download link while the files are prepared
    • When the link is ready, click the notification to open the MASV download page
    • Download the files in your browser or with the free MASV desktop app

  • MASV is a large file transfer service optimized for media and entertainment workflows. This integration enables automatic large file delivery from ScorePlay when file sizes exceed storage or bandwidth thresholds, providing users with browser-based or app-based download options
  • MASV isn't available on every plan. To enable it on your workspace, reach out to your CSM
  • If you don't see MASV under Delivery method, MASV isn't enabled on your workspace or your account type doesn't have the permission
  • MASV is a large file transfer service built for media workflows. It's faster than a standard web download
  • Preparing a large batch (several hundred files or many GB) can take a long time. You don't need to keep the page open: the notification updates when the link is ready
  • If a collection is still receiving uploads, wait for the upload to finish, or download the files already there and then run a second MASV download with only the new files (sort by upload date). This way the first batch isn't downloaded twice
  • MASV works for downloads from the ScorePlay web interface and from Portals. It isn't available for:
    • Share links
    • Mobile app
    • Public Portals, for users who aren't logged in to ScorePlay
