How do I add a tag restriction to a user?

In order for you to edit users, the Users > Can edit users permission must be enabled on your account.

❓ Issue/Question

  • I wanted to make a new user on ScorePlay labeled "X". I want people with this user account to only have access to view things tagged and labeled "X"
  • I want to restrict a user to access media that have only a specific tag

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Go to Configure > Users
  • Search for the user
  • Click the pencil icon on the right

  • Add tags in Tag access to limit the user to media with those tags
  • Add tags in Exclude tags to block media with those tags

 

🔖 Notes

  • Tag access: the user only sees media with these tags
  • Exclude tags: the user doesn't see media with these tags, even if the media also has a tag from Tag access
